Description:
Inside Wiremen install the power, lighting, controls and other electrical equipment in commercial and industrial buildings. Curriculum includes electrical theory, safety, welding, cable splicing and AC/DC theory.
Length of Training:
The Inside Wireman apprenticeship program consists of five years of classroom-related study and 8,000 hours paid on-the-job training.
Requirements During Training: Classes
Each apprentice will attend a minimum of 180 hours of classroom training each curriculum year.. The classes are held at the IEETC facility located at:
