About IATEFL International Conference

The 60th IATEFL International Conference and Exhibition will be held at the ICC Birmingham in the UK's second largest city, Birmingham, from Tuesday 6 to Friday 9 April 2027. The week of the conference, starting with Pre-Conference Events on 5th April, is a festival of professional development for English language teaching professionals from around the world. Delegates hear from industry experts, explore the latest ideas and trends in ELT, and connect with like-minded professionals. As one of the largest global English language teaching conferences, and perhaps the most international, it is a wonderful opportunity for companies, platforms and service providers to be seen and build their brand recognition across sectors of the profession and regions of the world.

About the Exhibition

The Exhibition is an essential part of the IATEFL Conference experience. It provides delegates with an opportunity to see all that's new in the world of English language teaching. Whether it is the latest publications, online platforms, teaching resources, professional development courses, assessment tools, teacher supports or specialised materials, the Exhibition is the place to go. 

Pop-up presentations on our 'Showcase Stage' 

These are 15-minute commercial presentations, programmed during the delegate breaks to maximise delegate . The presentation titles and times are listed in the Conference Programme and the App and will be displayed to the side of the Showcase Stage. Presenters will have access to a laptop and appropriate AV/PA system. 

About the venue for the Exhibition

The IATEFL Conference is being held at the ICC Birmingham. Within the venue the Exhibition will be in Hall 3 of the ICC. The hall itself is spacious and located adjacent to the Registration Desk a short way from the entrance to the ICC.  This space will include catering for our delegates along with places to sit.
