The purpose of this website is to inform beginner/intermediate snowboarders about the activity, how to be successful, common injuries involved, the joints and anatomy of basic movements, and training methods. All of this information will be beneficial for snowboarders trying to take the next step from beginner level to intermediate level.
Snowboarding is a winter sport where people ride down mountains or hills on a board. The rider uses their muscles and joints to maneuver the board down the steep terrain. There are just under eight million Americans who snowboard (1).
