For 2025, I served on the Executive team for one of Iowa State's campus's most significant student events. In this role, I covered the social media pages and served alongside the other members of Central. In this role, we work to raise money for Special Olympics Iowa. Greek Week is the primary source of fundraising for this organization. This year we raised over $350,000!
For the calendar year of 2023, I was elected Director of Philanthropies. Within this role, I assisted the Vice President of Foundations in planning the philanthropy in the spring and fall semesters. In the spring, I came up with the idea of Anchor Slam a 3 on 3 basketball tournament that teams could register for. All our money was raised to Service for Sight better known as the Delta Gamma Foundation. That philanthropy brought around 3,000 dollars for Service for Sight.
For the Fall of 2023, I was assisted in planning two philanthropies. One of which was the Cornhole Classic which was done along with the fraternity Phi Kappa Psi raising money for Make a Wish Iowa, helping to finish funding a child's wish. The second philanthropy was Slices for Sight, again benefiting the Delta Gamma Foundation.
Starting fall of 2024, I founded a club at Iowa State University for women who are interested in seeking a career in the sports industry as well as women who just love sports in general. This club intentions are to create connections, build a community, and for young women to find support when they are working in the sports industry.
For Homecoming 2023 Delta Gamma has chosen me as the Homecoming General Co-Chair to help plan and organize information that the chapter members need for Homecoming week and all the activities that go along with it. Including service opportunities, the Blue Sky 5k, tournaments, Yell like Hell, and many others.
In 2024 I look forward to serving on Delta Gamma's Joint Chapter Management Team. In this role, I will be a part of the Evaluating Committee for Primary Recruitment in the fall of 2024 and sign our Spring Continuous Open Bidding new members.
Also in this role, I will get to learn more about the retention of our current members. Interviewing a few of the members that live in the chapter facility to see why they chose to continue being a member of Delta Gamma Eta Psi.
In 2024, I will be serving as a Circle of Sisterhood Ambassador. Circle of Sisterhood is a Collegiate Panhellenic that helps remove educational barriers for girls and young women who are facing poverty and oppression.
In this role, I got to serve alongside Alyssa Jirik, Andrew Ross, and Carson Wilary to help Phi Kappa Psi and Delta Gamma raise money to purchase canned food, hygiene products, and clothes to donate in Ames. Out of all the teams on campus we placed 3rd. This experience was truly eye opening that two chapters could come together and make a large impact on the Ames community in only a week.
