Register for OAM Ride-Outs

All OAM Ride-Outs are categorised as follows: –

Associate Rides: For all Associates on our waiting list or already in training > No Observer approval required!
Group Rides: Level 1 - Easy Pace - suitable for all abilities – for approved Associates & Full/Fellow Members.
Level 2 - Medium Pace – for approved Associates & Full/Fellow Members.
Level 3 - Advanced Pace – for Full/Fellow Members only, that have passed the AR test and continue to ride to the AR standard.

NOTE: Associates may only attend Group Ride-outs for the respective level ( 1 or 2) as approved by their Observer.

Sunday Meet Up & Ride-Out To Revs Automobilia Café - Sunday 16/11/2025

Join fellow group members for a social get-together – tea, coffee and biscuits before embarking on a great Sunday morning Ride - Out.

As we approach the winter months, I have chosen a shorter local route with many opportunities to drop off if required. The circular route bimbles through some familiar roads, stopping at a new venue for OAM, Revs Automobilia Café, Stretton on Fosse A429. Then winding back to Chipping Norton on some more familiar roads, including the inimitable Fish Hill.

Please note this ride will be weather permitting with a temperature threshold of 5C - Check Telegram Ride-Outs and Events for last minute changes.

Time: Meet at 09:00 for a 10:00 departure.
Location: Meet at The Clifton Centre, Ashdene Road Bicester OX26 2BH
The meet-up point has a large area for off-road parking

Duration: 3hrs, including an hour for lunch estimated return 13:00.

Sunday Meet Up & Ride-Out To Jacks Hill Café - Sunday 14/12/2025

Join fellow group members for a social get-together – tea, coffee and biscuits before embarking on a great Sunday morning Ride - Out.

For the last ride before Christmas we will embark on an 80 mile round trip from Bicester to the newly opened Jacks Hill Café, Towcester, for brunch. This will be via Winchendon, Winslow and Buckingham. The return run will a meander through some of our favourite country lanes back to McDonalds, Baynards Green just off the A43.

OAM Disclaimer for Group & Associate Rides

If you take part in an OAM Group Ride, it will be your responsibility to ensure compliance with the following statement:

I understand that I am deemed to be in control of my own vehicle at all times, and neither IAM RoadSmart nor Oxford Advanced Motorcyclists are responsible for my actions.
I am aware that I am responsible for my own safety, for all my riding decisions and compliance with the law (Highway Code).
I confirm that I am the holder of a valid current driving licence, have appropriate Insurance, MOT (if required) and road tax for the vehicle I am using.
I have carried out the relevant checks (e.g. POWDER) to ensure that my vehicle is roadworthy.
I am fit to ride and not under the influence of any drug (including prescribed medication) that may adversely affect my fitness to ride.
I will wear corrective eyewear while riding if my eyesight requires it.
I will bring any relevant health issue to the attention of the Ride Leader prior the ride starts.

NOTE: If a Ride Leader is of the opinion that a rider endangers others or acts in a way that would bring the IAM and/or OAM into disrepute, the rider will be advised to rectify his/her actions immediately and may be excluded from continuing with the group ride and potentially any other future ride outs.
