Register for OAM Ride-Outs
All OAM Ride-Outs are categorised as follows: –
Associate Rides: For all Associates on our waiting list or already in training > No Observer approval required!
Group Rides: Level 1 - Easy Pace - suitable for all abilities – for approved Associates & Full/Fellow Members.
Level 2 - Medium Pace – for approved Associates & Full/Fellow Members.
Level 3 - Advanced Pace – for Full/Fellow Members only, that have passed the AR test and continue to ride to the AR standard.
NOTE: Associates may only attend Group Ride-outs for the respective level ( 1 or 2) as approved by their Observer.
NOTE: With the lifting of COVID- 19 restrictions there is no longer a limit on the number of people that can attend this ride-out.

Sunday Group Meet-up and Ride-Out 16/06/2024 - The Bike Sanctuary and Bike M'Eats.
Join fellow group members for a social get-together – tea, coffee and biscuits before embarking on a great Sunday morning Ride-out.
This months ride will be an 85 mile romp over some of the best roads Oxfordshire, Northants and Buckingshire have to offer. The destination is The Bike Sanctuary and Bike M'Eats, Milton Keynes. The return terminates at a local favorite, the Pig Place Adderbury.
Time: Meet at 09:00 for a 10:00 departure.
Location: Meet at The Clifton Centre, Ashdene Road Bicester OX26 2BH
The meet-up point has a large area for off-road parking

Sunday Group Meet-up and Ride-Out 14/07/2024 - Monmouth and the Wye Valley *Cancelled*
Join fellow group members for a social get-together, tea, coffee, and biscuits before embarking on a great Sunday morning ride-out.
A slightly longer ride is in order now that it is a little warmer. This month, we will head out to Monmouth via Stow on the Wold, Andoversford, Gloucester and the Forest of Dean. Lunch will be in Monmouth. The ride back will be through the glorious Wye Valley to Chepstow before looping back to Tewkesbury. Then via Stanway Hill our final destination will be the Cotswold Barn, Stow on the Wold for coffee and cake before heading home.
Time: Meet at 09:00 for a 10:00 departure.

Weekend Ride - Out 20/07/2024 - "Refuel Café" to Henley
Join Rick for a 90-mile circular ride-out around Oxfordshire and into Bucks, starting and finishing at the Refuel Café Eynsham and with a lunch stop at Toad Hall Garden Centre in Henley on Thames.
Time: Meet at 09:00 for a 10:00 departure.
Location: Meet at Refuel Café, Eynsham, OX29 4EF.

OAM Disclaimer for Group & Associate Rides
If you take part in an OAM Group Ride, it will be your responsibility to ensure compliance with the following statement:
I understand that I am deemed to be in control of my own vehicle at all times, and neither IAM RoadSmart nor Oxford Advanced Motorcyclists are responsible for my actions.
I am aware that I am responsible for my own safety, for all my riding decisions and compliance with the law (Highway Code).
I confirm that I am the holder of a valid current driving licence, have appropriate Insurance, MOT (if required) and road tax for the vehicle I am using.
I have carried out the relevant checks (e.g. POWDER) to ensure that my vehicle is roadworthy.
I am fit to ride and not under the influence of any drug (including prescribed medication) that may adversely affect my fitness to ride.
I will wear corrective eyewear while riding if my eyesight requires it.
I will bring any relevant health issue to the attention of the Ride Leader prior the ride starts.
NOTE: If a Ride Leader is of the opinion that a rider endangers others or acts in a way that would bring the IAM and/or OAM into disrepute, the rider will be advised to rectify his/her actions immediately and may be excluded from continuing with the group ride and potentially any other future ride outs.
