IAC is not a commercial lodge. It is a very different experience, based on everyone contributing to the running of the place, and respect for all those present.
All those over 12 years old are required to do one or two duties during their stay - helping with setting up tables for meals, serving and cleaning. This year we will have an additional duty of disinfecting some of the frequently touched items - handrails and light switches.
We have a range of 2 and 4 bunk rooms.
Beds will be allocated by the booking officer, and are not to be changed. You may be sharing a room with people you do not know, but our booking officer will do their best to make sure rooms are allocated appropriately.
There are two main bathrooms for men and women. These have 3 shower cubicles and two toilets in each. A few rooms have an ensuite bathroom shared between two 2 bunk rooms. But remember the above comment - you may not get one of these rooms.
