Patterns And Functions->
If we can develop an understanding of patterns, relationships and functions and use them to represent and explain real-world phenomena it means we are a reflective thinker.
Patterns, relationships and functions constitute a unifying theme of mathematics.
Mathematics is also a science of patterns.
In these grades, all we have to do is see the form of patterns and connection between patterns.
In all these Patterns something is being repeated. In the first pattern the 2 animals are being repeated. In the second pattern its going deeper and deeper.
Number Patterns:
A set of numbers that perform certain series/pattern like addition or multiplication repeatedly is termed as number pattern. When we see the shape or things or size is repeating, it means we can see a pattern. If we can create patterns using shapes and colors can't create patterns using numbers.
Patterns In Nature:
There are many patterns in the world. But, did you ever notice a pattern in nature. Like, in calendars, seasons, fruits and leaves.
Patterns In Words:
If there are patterns in numbers can't they be patterns in words.
Growing And Shrinking Pattern:
There are repeating patterns right, if there are repeating patterns can't there be growing and shrinking patterns. Growing patterns increase and Shrinking Patterns decrease.
