Anyone with a child enrolled at HudsonWay! It is a great way to get involved, get to know your teacher and the school, and meet new people. There are no term limits and new and returning parents are all welcome to pitch in.
If you have the will and skill to manage more than one room, you will not be stopped. However, note that end-of-year parties for preschool and elementary students are scheduled for the same time so strong recruiting and delegating abilities are prerequisites. Most parents of HWIS siblings alternate between their kids' homerooms year-to-year or choose whichever room has the bigger need.

Participation from other parents is encouraged and you are welcome to delegate to other parent volunteers in your homeroom. For example, you may be the one to coordinate the end-of-year party agenda with your homeroom teacher but another parent might deliver and present the party treats and activities — that is okay as long as the party happens!
You will also receive ample support from HWISPA throughout the year.

HWISPA is a small organization run by parent volunteers with similar commitments to family and work. While we aim to reach all of our students and have done our best to minimize the load for homeroom parents, sadly, homerooms without homeroom parents will forfeit their budget and not be able to have the same activities and celebrations.
To be announced soon.
