Our Classes

Dosbarth yr Afon

Miss Roberts leads the children's learning in Dosbarth yr Afon, as well as Mrs Cole. They are assisted by Mrs Butler. The children in class are at Progression Stage 1, which is Nursery and Reception. Children can join Dosbarth yr Afon on a part time basis in the term following their 3rd birthday. 

Dosbarth y Goeden

Mrs Cole and Mrs Thorne are the class teachers and are assisted by Miss Roberts, Miss Adams, Mrs Butler and Mrs Devonald. The children in class are at Progression Stage 1 (Reception) and Progression Stage 2, which is years 1, 2 and 3 and enjoy a varied curriculum based on topics that the pupils have had in influence in planning. 

Dosbarth y Mynydd

Mrs MacGarvie is the class teacher and is assisted by Mr Wears and Mrs Devonald. The children in class are at Progression Stage 3, which is years 4, 5 and 6 and enjoy a varied curriculum based on topics that the pupils have had in influence in planning. 

Many pupils are voted to lead an area of pupil voice whilst in the class, including year 6s who present in front of the school to become school prefects.
