What is Hwb?
What is Hwb?
The Welsh Government have created a platform to host a national collection of digital tools and resources to support teaching and learning in Wales – Hwb.
This enables learners and teachers to access online resources anywhere, at any time, from a range of devices.
This platform is also available to governors to support them in their role within the governing body.
All governors in Wales are provided with a free secure email address. This gives governors access to Microsoft Office online apps, including: MS Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneDrive.
This can be downloaded to your personal device free of charge.
Once you become a governor in the EAS region, the Governor Support Service will contact you with information on your new email address, and support on how to login.
Governing bodies can use the portal to create a Governing Body Network group for their governors, your school will be able to inform you if one exists for your Governing Body.
