• New and emerging guidance and support documents from Welsh Government and Estyn around Equity

• Support with PDG planning and effective spend examples from schools

• Discussions and effective practice around Mitigating the Impact of Poverty on Attainment

• Discussions and effective practice around the EEF Learning and Teaching Toolkit and Resources

• Update on regional and local professional learning opportunities

A 2.5 hour, bite size version of the Children North East Poverty Proofing the School Day Programme to give school and education based practitioners an introduction to poverty and an opportunity to explore how to mitigate the impact with their settings and areas of work.

The session will provide a strong and detailed introduction to poverty and is suitable for all staff and governors.
