Club Competitions
In addition to the ladder that runs throughout the year, the club also offers different competitions for its members at various points. Exciting events such as The Club Championships, The Summer Teams and a Christmas competition included.
MSC Senior Club Championships 2023
2023 was the first annual senior club championship bringing together all abilities, genders and ages from the club to add the competitve element and find out who is the number one in the club. Prizes awarded for the winners of each grade. Thank you everyone who entered, for all the fun and banter, and to Pete Davies for providing food and venue for post-finals day refreshments!
MSC Ladies Club Championship
Running alongside the Senior competition will be an enjoyable, ladies only competition. I aim to use this competition as a way to introduce the ladies of the club to new players they might not play often in a relaxed atmosphere, with an added competitive element. Thank you to all the ladies who have entered!
MSC Junior Club Championship
We hold an annual Club Championship for the junior section of the club with abilities ranging from the 4 & 5 year old Mini's to the older Juniors who represent the club in the teams. This is graded based on ability, and a much loved date in the diary for all concerned. The focus is on enjoyment for the juniors, and giving them an experience of squash different to what they might usually experience on a normal coaching weekend.
