Yn amgaeedig mae manylion parthed cynnal cyfarfod cyhoeddus i estyn gwahoddiad i Eisteddfod yr Urdd ddod i Ynys Môn yn 2026.

Dwi’n mawr obeithio y bydd cefnogaeth gan bawb ar Ynys Môn yn y cyfarfod ac y byddwn yn gallu cynnal a chreu bwrlwm o’r cychwyn un.

Mae copi o’r poster a llythyr yn amgaeedig, byddwn yn hynod o werthfawrogi petai modd i chi rhannu rhain ar eich cyfrifon Cymdeithasol, cysylltiadau perthnasol ynghyd a mynychu’r cyfarfod.

Gyda diolch o flaen llaw ac edrych ymlaen at weld pawb ar y noson a chynnal yr Eisteddfod orau erioed!

Enclosed are details regarding holding a public meeting to extend an invitation to the Urdd Eisteddfod to come to Ynys Môn in 2026.

I really hope that there will be support from everyone on Ynys Môn at the meeting and that we will be able to host and create a buzz from the very beginning.

A copy of the poster and letter is enclosed, we would greatly appreciate it if you could share these on your Social accounts, relevant contacts,  together with attending the meeting.

Mae ambell i sylw/ymholiad wedi dod yn ddiweddar ynglŷn â systemau trydanol mynediad/allanfa adeiladau ysgolion (gan fod ambell i ysgol wedi gosod system ei hun).  Ar gais yr Adran Eiddo, gofynnwn yn garedig i chi gwblhau’r holiadur cryno iawn yma erbyn 13.07.23, os gwelwch yn dda.

Some comments/queries have recently arisen regarding school building entrance/exit electrical systems (as some schools have installed their own systems). At the Property Department's request, we kindly ask you to complete this very concise questionnaire by 13.07.23 please.

Y Broses Archebu

Mae'r broses archebu yn dal i fod yr un fath, gyda dwy ffenestr i sicrhau bod modd prynu trwyddedau newydd yn barod ar gyfer y flwyddyn academaidd newydd ac i ymdrin ag unrhyw newidiadau dilynol yn ystod hanner tymor cyntaf y flwyddyn ysgol.

Bydd yr holl drwyddedau'n rhedeg tan 31 Awst 2024, gyda chostau trwyddedau a brynir yn ystod ffenestr mis Hydref yn cael eu pennu ar sail pro rata.

Noder na allwch wneud archebion y tu allan i'r ffenestri hyn. Bydd unrhyw archebion a dderbynnir ar ôl 31 Gorffennaf yn cael eu prosesu ar ddiwedd ffenestr mis Hydref ac ni fydd archebion a dderbynnir ar ôl 31 Hydref yn cael eu prosesu.

Bydd trwyddedau ar gael ym Mhorth Rheoli Defnyddwyr ysgolion o fewn 14 diwrnod i’r archebion yn cael eu prosesu gan y Gwasanaeth Technoleg Addysg, yn dilyn cau pob ffenestr archebu.

Beth sydd wedi'i gynnwys yn Adobe Creative Cloud?

Mae Adobe Creative Cloud drwy Hwb yn cynnwys mynediad at fwy nag 20 o offer Adobe megis Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Animate, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Adobe XD a llawer mwy, ac mae'n ofyniad craidd ar gyfer cymwysterau Technoleg Ddigidol TGAU a Safon Uwch.

Trwyddedau Blasu

Wrth gyflwyno'r trefniant hwn, i gefnogi prynu Adobe Creative Cloud, darparodd Llywodraeth Cymru drwyddedau 'blasu' i bob ysgol a gynhelir yng Nghymru. Mae'n bleser gennyf gadarnhau y bydd y trwyddedau 'blasu' hyn ar gael eto ym mlwyddyn academaidd 2023/24, gan ddilyn yr un cymarebau:

We are pleased to confirm that Adobe Creative Cloud licences for schools will be available for purchase again through the EdTech Service for the 2023/24 academic year.

The cost will remain at £3.80 (plus VAT and the EdTech Service’s fee) per licence and local authorities should coordinate requirements from schools into a consolidated order to the EdTech Service by email - EdTech@caerphilly.gov.uk.

Ordering Process

The ordering process remains the same as previous years, with two windows to ensure new licenses can be purchased in readiness for the new academic year and to deal with any subsequent changes during the first half-term of the school year.

Window 1 - by 31 July 2023

Window 2 - by 31 October 2023

All licences will run through to 31 August 2024 with licences purchased in the October window being pro-rata’d for cost and term.

Please note, you are not able to place orders outside of these windows. Any orders received after 31 July will be processed at the close of the October window and orders received after 31 October will not be processed.

Licences will be available in schools’ User Management Portal within 14 days of orders being processed by the EdTech Service, following the close of each order window.

Orders can only be placed by your nominated lead(s) with the EdTech Service and must include the following information per school:

• DfES No.

• School name

• No of licences required; and

• Total cost approved by the LA.

What’s included in Adobe Creative Cloud?

Adobe Creative Cloud through Hwb includes access to more than 20 Adobe tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Animate, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Adobe XD and many more, and is a core requirement for the GCSE and A level Digital Technology qualifications.

All maintained schools in Wales also have access to Adobe Creative Cloud Express for Education for free through the Hwb accounts.

Taster Licences

At the introduction of this arrangement, to support the purchase of Adobe Creative Cloud, the Welsh Government provided ‘taster’ licences to each maintained school in Wales. I am delighted to confirm that these ‘taster’ licences will again be available in the 2023/24 academic year following the same ratios:

Gallai eich ymateb helpu i lywio’r drafodaeth ar bolisïau ac arferion addysg yng Nghymru, a’r adnoddau sydd ar gael i gefnogi lleoliadau addysg i sefydlu eu dull ysgol gyfan ar gyfer llesiant emosiynol a meddyliol.

What is the purpose of the survey?

Welsh Government is undertaking research to explore how schools and pupil referral units are embedding a Whole School Approach to Emotional and Mental Well-being.

Your response could help to inform the discussion of education policies and practices in Wales, and the resources available to support education settings to embed their whole school approach to emotional and mental well-being.

Who is this survey aimed at?

We would like to hear from members of senior management and leadership teams, and/or health and well-being leads from schools and education settings. This includes maintained nursery, primary, secondary, middle and special schools including pupil referral units.

The survey asks questions about how your school’s approach to supporting health and well-being for learners and staff.

This includes questions about your school’s use of resources and funding to support a Whole School Approach to Emotional and Mental Well-being, as well as your school’s engagement with Implementation Coordinators and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) school in-reach provision. You will also need to provide your school's reference number.
