Addasrwydd Adeiladau
Suitability of Buildings
Yn 2022 bu i'r Gwasanaeth Dysgu ymweld â phob ysgol i gasglu gwybodaeth ynglŷn ag addasrwydd adeiladau. Mae’n ofynnol i ni sicrhau fod gennym yr wybodaeth gywir a chyfredol am gyflwr, digonolrwydd ac addasrwydd holl adeiladau ysgolion. Bydd archwiliadau cyflwr hefyd yn cael eu cynnal gan yr Adran Eiddo a Llywodraeth Cymru dros y misoedd nesaf. O ganlyniad i hyn, mae’n amserol i ni ail-ymweld â'n hysgolion yn ystod tymor yr haf, ac yn adolygu’r wybodaeth sydd gennym. Byddwn mewn cysylltiad â chi cyn y Pasg i amlinellu’r trefniadau a’r amserlen ar gyfer y gwaith hwn.
In 2022 the Learning Service visited each school to gather information about the suitability of buildings. It is required for us to ensure that we have the correct and up-to-date information about the condition, adequacy and suitability of all school buildings. Condition inspections will also be held by the Property Department and Welsh Government over the next few months. As a result of this, it is timely for us to revisit our schools during the summer term and review the information we have. We will be in contact with you before Easter to outline the arrangements and timeline for this work.

Mae ysgolion Môn eisiau deall mwy am anghenion cyflogwyr lleol ac adnabod sut y gallent gydweithio er mwyn wella cyfleoedd gwaith ar gyfer dysgwyr.
Rydym yn gobeithio y bydd yr arolwg gan y Cyngor Sir yn gam cyntaf ar siwrne i ymgysylltu â busnesau a helpu i ddatblygu gweithlu’r dyfodol ar ein hynys.
A fyddai eich busnes yn fodlon gweithio gydag ysgolion lleol? Os byddai - ewch ati i lenwi ein harolwg!
Please note that the following message is on the Council's social media. These results will be shared with you as schools to support you with the crosscutting themes of career and work-related experiences in the Curriculum for Wales.
Unfortunately, the number of employees who have responded up to now is low. We would appreciate if you could re-share the message please.
Anglesey schools want to understand more about local employers’ needs and identify how they can co-operate to improve work-related opportunities for learners.
We hope that the Council’s survey will be the first step on a journey to engage with businesses and help develop our island’s future workforce.
Would your business be willing to work with local schools? If so – please take our survey!

Heddiw, rydyn ni wedi lansio arolwg ar-lein newydd a fydd yn ein helpu ni i nodi llwyddiannau, heriau a syniadau sydd gan bobl ynghylch gwneud chwaraeon a gweithgarwch corfforol yn fwy cynhwysol i bawb yng Nghymru.
Mae gennym ddiddordeb arbennig mewn dysgu mwy gan y rhai sy’n creu cyfleoedd i blant a phobl ifanc (mewn rôl gyflogedig neu wirfoddol).
Byddem wir yn gwerthfawrogi pe baech yn gallu rhannu'r arolwg o fewn eich sefydliad eich hun i'w gwblhau gan eich staff, a hefyd ei anfon ymlaen o fewn eich rhwydweithiau.
Mae'r arolwg yn cymryd tua 10 i 15 munud i'w gwblhau. Fel y soniwyd mewn bwletin blaenorol, rydym yn gweithio gyda’r Ganolfan Ymchwil ar gyfer Iechyd, Gweithgarwch a Lles (CAWR) ym Mhrifysgol Metropolitan Caerdydd ar y prosiect hwn.
Survey: Help us to map out good practice across Wales
Today, we have launched a new online survey which will help us to identify successes, challenges and ideas that people have around making sport and physical activity more inclusive for everyone in Wales.
We’re particularly interested in learning more from those who are creating opportunities for children and young people (in either a paid or voluntary role).
We would really appreciate it if you could share the survey within your own organisation for completion by your staff, and also forward it on within your networks.
The survey takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. As mentioned in a previous bulletin, we are working with the Centre for Health, Activity and Wellbeing Research (CAWR) at Cardiff Metropolitan University on this project.
Sgwrs ar Linellau Cyffuriau
Talk on County Lines
Rydych wedi cael eich gwahodd i gwrdd â Keiron Platt, sydd wedi goroesi cam-fanteisio ar blant sy’n gysylltiedig â Llinellau Cyffuriau. Treuliodd nifer o flynyddoedd ei arddegau, meddai, “yng nghanol Llinellau Cyffuriau, yn gwerthu cyffuriau ac yn difrodi cymunedau”. Cafodd ei arestio yn cario nifer fawr o gyffuriau ac arian ar 17/04/2020.
Ers hynny, mae wedi treulio ei holl amser ac ymdrechion yn “gwneud yn iawn am ei gamgymeriadau a cheisio gwella bywydau pobl ifanc.” Bydd Keiron yn cynnal sgwrs ar Linellau Cyffuriau o’i safbwynt personol, fel unigolyn ifanc sydd wedi dioddef cam-fanteisio.
Mae profiad personol Keiron yn edrych ar sut cafodd ei gyfnod yn yr ysgol, ei berthynas â’r Gwasanaethau Plant a Theuluoedd a’i berthynas gyda’r Heddlu ddylanwad ar ei benderfyniadau, ac efallai bod stori Keiron yn uniaethu â phobl ifanc ar Ynys Môn. Felly, fe’ch anogir i gymryd rhan ac i rannu’r gwahoddiad hwn gyda’ch cydweithwyr addysgu os gwelwch yn dda.
Bydd Keiron yn rhannu ei brofiadau gyda chi ar:
13.03.24 - 9.30 - 11.30 am (fel rhan o Gynhadledd y Gwasanaethau Plant a Theuluoedd). Cewch wahoddiad ddolen Zoom yn uniongyrchol gan Weinyddwr y Gynhadledd yn fuan.
Mae’r sgwrs ar gyfer staff sy’n addysgu mewn ysgolion, holl staff y Gwasanaethau Plant a Theuluoedd, y Gwasanaeth Cyfiawnder Ieuenctid, yr Adran Dai a’r Adran Addysg.
Mae croeso i chi fynychu drwy ddod i Siambr y Cyngor, Swyddfeydd y Cyngor, Llangefni neu ymuno dros Zoom.
You are invited to meet Keiron Platt who is a survivor of County Lines child exploitation. He spent numerous years of his teenage life, in his words, “involved in County Lines, selling drugs and damaging communities”. He was arrested with a large amount of drugs and cash on 17/04/2020.
Since his arrest he has put all his time and effort into “atoning for his mistakes and trying to improve the lives of young people”. Keiron will be doing a talk on County Lines from his own point of view as a young person being exploited.
Keiron’s personal experience looks at how his time at school, being known to Children and Family Services and the Police affected the choices he made and Keiron’s story could very well be the story of any young person from Ynys Môn. Therefore you are urged to attend and also please share this invite with your teaching colleagues.
Keiron will be sharing his experiences with you on:
13.03.24 - 9.30 – 11.30 am (as part of the Children & Family Services Staff Conference). A Zoom link invitation will follow directly from the Conference Administrator.
This talk is aimed at teaching staff from schools, all staff at Children & Families Services, Youth Justice Service, Housing Department & Education Department.
You are welcome to attend in person at the Council Chamber, Council Offices, Llangefni or join via Zoom.
