What was it like to be a child during the war?

We have spent a number of weeks answering this question and finding out what it was like to be a child evacuated during World War 2. We have listened to the first few chapters of Carrie's War and have an idea of how Nick and Carrie felt moving to a different place and living in the country. We enhanced our learning by visiting Brecon War Musuem when we took part in role play sessions and watched documentation of being an evacuee.
