My name is Andrea Bragg and I am a qualified counsellor based in Talbot Green.
I use an integrative model of counselling, this means that my training incorporated a range of therapeutic methods, including psychodynamic and CBT. I am therefore able to draw on various techniques and adapt my approach based on your individual needs. I believe that the relationship I build with my clients is the most useful tool to enable change and that collaboratively finding a way of working that suits you will lead to the best possible outcome.
I have a Masters Degree in Therapeutic Counselling and I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP membership number 00736277) Therefore whoever I work with can have the peace of mind that I adhere to the strict ethical guidelines set out by the BACP. This also means I complete continuing professional development training regularly.
I have worked as a counsellor in a variety of settings and have experience working with children, young people and adults. The clients I have worked with have struggled with a range of issues including anxiety, grief, traumatic experiences, relationship difficulties and depression. At points I have specialised in working with people on the autistic spectrum or with additional learning needs.
