Theatre Arts I -
In the course students will study and practice various aspects of Theatre Arts, including performance, design, fabrication, and management. Projects will encourage students to better understand and reflect on the historical impact live performances have had in cultures around the world, as well as learn about modern career opportunities in theatre, concerts, and film.
Technical Theatre -
In this course students will study and practice the design, fabrication, and management for live performances. Projects will help students learn various design elements, including scenery, costumes, hair/makeup, sound effects, lighting design, and projection mapping and understand how these elements can enhance the quality of storytelling and live entertainment.
Theatre Production -
This course is a production based class where students collaborate, design, rehearse, and produce various theatrical and community events throughout the school year. In the past few years we have helped host a campus wide ice cream social, Black History Month Poetry and Music Event as well as a play in our Black Box Theatre
