Have a question? Please complete this form.
1. I heard there isn't a way to create rules for all classes at once. Is this in beta testing at all? That would make your program so much easier for new users. It would also be helpful if we could share a rule list among our campus.
This is not a current feature but it is slated for later this school year! I'll let your team know when it is available for testing if you'd like to participate in testing it out before general release.
2. When the category says, "social media" what does that include? Do I also need to enter each site (facebook, X, snapchat, etc.) or does it cover them all?
Here is an article that outlines what is included in the themes and categories for Rules in Classwize (blocking Social Media will block all of those you listed - Facebook, Snapchat and X).
3. Some sites are listed in the drop-down menu, like, 123movies. Is that a list of the most common sites?
There are quite a few factors that go into this; we have a Categorization that reviews websites daily and adds them. I reached out to our Classwize Product Team for more specific info on the decision criteria and can let you know when I hear more.
4. Can we create a new class for after-school detention? It would need to have multiple teachers and the students would change twice a week.
Yes, you can use Add a Class in the upper right hand corner of Classwize to create an ad hoc/local class to include students and teachers involved in the after school activity
