The red level is the first drawing we made, and it is meant to be the easiest, as there are fewer drawings covering up the objects. You can see that underneath, there are animals drawn in green, which become visible when viewed through the red magnifying glass. We used the red version for most of our prototypes because it was easiest to color match the red, whereas for the other levels, we had a little difficulty finding the perfect markers to use so that the magnifying glasses worked properly.
The green level is nature-themed, and you can see that there is a lot more going on than the red level. Underneath the green, there are nature-themed objects drawn in red that come to life when using the green magnifying glass. This was more difficult to make than the red level, because the green cellophane we had was somewhat light, meaning we had to use light green markers, making it more difficult to cover up the hidden drawings. This meant that we had to draw with a very light red pencil, which meant the drawings did not pop out as much in this level as the red one.Â
The blue level was fruit-themed, and it was also a harder level to create because we had to use a light blue marker, similar to the green level. There are fruits drawn in red underneath the blue marker, and some of the fruits were drawn very small to make the level more difficult. We found that this was many kids' favorite level, because blue is a popular favorite color.
