Considerations When Planning Summative Tasks
Create a practice of constant reflection that guides students through an analysis of what they have learned as a result of a learning episode. This reflection can include the articulation of what was done, what was learned, what they did well, and what they struggled with. This reflection must also include opportunities for students to name how the new language, culture, and community is impacting their personal development; how they see themselves within the school community (as scholars) and beyond (as community members).
