Enrollment
To be enrolled into the CMMA program, one must be a student enrolled at Tennyson High School in Hayward, CA.
They must also have completed one (1) academic year as a first-year, Freshman student, and toward the end of their Freshman year, students interested in CMMA may apply to be part of the academy.
The Complete CMMA Curriculum
Grade 10: English 10, Science, Multimedia I, World History
Grade 11: English 11, Science, Multimedia II, U.S. History, Internship (Optional)
Grade 12: Government & Economics, Multimedia III (Visual Communications), Summer Internship (Optional)
What can CMMA students expect?

Family Atmosphere
An emphasis on providing a nurturing family structure where parents, students and academy teachers work closely together to ensure student success.
Summer Internships
During the summer of their junior year, students are placed in internships, where they gain valuable skills and community service.
Mentoring
During their junior year, CMMA students participate in an electronic mentoring program.
Multimedia
Students learn and become proficient in web design, digital image and video editing, desktop publishing and page layout and podcasting.

Legacy Award Winners 2020
CMMA hosts an annual "Legacy Night", an academic achievement showcase and award ceremony. Our final award of the night is the "Legacy Award", given to two CMMA Seniors who have demonstrated exceptional use of academic spirit and fully embodying CMMA Values.
