Welcome to my science website!

Here, I will share some of the things that I am learning in 8th grade science.

Our monthly goals will also be described. The goal for August and September was curiosity. Activities that did for this were a microscopy lab, a Wonder Journal, water testing, a cicada lab, and a Hungry Hungry Sphero Challenge. My favorite was the Hungry Hungry Spero Challenge.

Update for October, November,& December

One of my favorite projects is when I got to laser cut the meaning of plate Tectonics. I enjoy doing hands on projects as you can see one of my favorite projects is a hands on tip of things. What I'm working towards is to be able to remember the big parts of things and working together with other people. Me and a friend or a group member I know its hard sometimes to work with me so were I can grow the most is just being a better group member and focusing more on the big things. Oh and I can do a lot better on the test it just takes time and practice.

Updates for January, February, and March

Between January and February, and also March we did one of the coolest thing ever we did built this sketch note about Forces and motion, static charge video. We did another project in March that we had to build are own magnet and figure the Newton's 3 Laws.

Updates April, May

Between April and May we worked on a lot of different thing we did stuff with water quality, frogbit, checkenology, punnet squares, also did a alien gizmo, mitosis and meiosis, pock pocket mouse, lastly evidence and Evolution. I personally like working on the frogbit project because one its hands on and two the way you can only pick frogbit up with you hands in the spring any other time of the year you should use chemicals and other objects to pick it up.

Final Thoughts On 8th Grade Science

8th grade science was different for multiple reasons and some of the things I enjoyed the most was most deferential the water quality testing and all the different labs. I'm not the best at science but Mrs.Laccrosse help me get there and learn the way I needed to learn how to do it and showed me the right and the wrong way you can do something. But some of the things i really didn't enjoy was all the test but that's really the only bad thing about 8th grade science other then that 8th grade science is really fun and shows you was to work with people you don't normal do and shows you how to use all of your brains together. But the thing I really want to learn more about in the future is electrical tech I have a really big dreams to make it pro in something but you always have to have a back up plan!
