CHARACTER LEADERSHIP SERVICE SCHOLARSHIP
August & September
9/20: United Way Day of Caring
NHS members cleaned up the dog park, by picking weeds, cleaning brush, and picking up trash. They also picked up trash and picked weeds in the parking lot by Muddy Run Tavern and Moxmoes Subs.
9/27: New Member Induction
Current members inducted our newest members into the National Honor Society. Mrs. Bucynski was this year's guest speaker and she graciously gifted the group with her artwork that served as a metaphor for the 4 pillars.
October & November
10/15: Rise Against Hunger at the H.C.C.
Members volunteering to help with The Rise Against Hunger event benefiting local communities.
11/9: Veterans Day Assembly
The Veterans Day assembly organized by NHS to honor those past and present who have served in the military.
December
Bell-ringing for the Salvation Army
Individual members volunteered to ring the bell for the Salvation Army during the month of December.
Santa Breakfast @ Standing Stone
Individual members helped serve breakfast, and assisted with crafts and meeting Santa!
