• Review page 30 to be sure you understand how to Make a 10. Tear your Work Mat 2 out of the back of your My Math book (WM2)
• Complete page 31 - On My Own (Use your red and yellow counters and Work Mat 2 to practice each problem)

Make An Addition Sentence and Find the Sum - Activity

1. Find your worksheet Make An Addition Sentence
2. Roll your red die once and your blue die once. Write each of the numbers you rolled in the boxes on the paper.
3. Add the two numbers (addends) together and write the sum in the 'Total' box
4. Repeat these steps to complete the handout front and back

Turn this in on Friday!

• Complete page 32 - Problem Solving (Continue practicing Make a 10 to complete these word problems.) Show your work! (Do not tear this page out)

Dump It! - Activity

1. Find your Dump It! activity page.
2. Place it in your dry erase clear sheet I sent home with you
3. Use a cup or a baggy and place all of your red and yellow counters inside. Dump them out.
4. Count how many red ones you have and write it in the box on the paper with a dry erase marker. Count how many yellow and write that number in the box.
5. Compare the numbers by placing a <, >, or = sign in the small circle
6. Have your parents take a picture of you completing this activity. Wipe it clean, and do the activity 1-2 more times! Have Fun!

Roll and Race Addition Facts - Activity

1. Find the Roll and Race activity page.
2. One sheet has addition problems on it and the other is blank. You will roll the red die (the one that has the dots on it) and choose a problem to solve from the row that matches the number you rolled on the die.
3. Write the answer (sum) to the addition problem on the blank answer sheet.
4. Continue these steps until the answers are all filled in for each blank box.
5. When you are finished, use the addition facts sheet and color in the boxes of addition facts that are doubles facts YELLOW and color the addition facts that are near doubles facts BLUE.
