*Eligibility requirements are:
Aged 25–55 as of January 1 of the semester they apply.
No prior postsecondary degree.
New York State resident or eligible for in-state tuition.
Matriculated in an approved associate degree program in a high-demand field.
Enroll in a minimum of 6 credits per semester and 12 per academic year.
File FAFSA and apply for NYS TAP or the NYS DREAM Act, if eligible.
For students applying to CUNY who were educated outside of the United States:
Applicants must provide an English translation as well as the document in the original language.
All translations must be:
Complete and literal (word for word) with no attempts to interpret or evaluate the credential
Prepared in the same format as the original document
Typed on business or school letterhead/stationary
Signed by a translator attesting to familiarity with the foreign language
Official translations may be provided by:
Consulate or embassy of the country issuing the document
Translation agency
Immigration or refugee association in the U.S. representing the country issuing the document
Faculty member of U.S. high school, college or university
Translations may not be provided by:
The student or members of his/her family
Individuals not affiliated with any of the organizations listed above
