Shea - Shea has returned to school ready to learn. He is being a risk-taker and applying his phonic knowledge to his writing with increased independence and confidence. He is reflective of feedback given to him on how to improve his writing. Well done Shea!

Callie - Callie has really pushed herself this week and been a risk taker. She has chosen to write pages for our class book on minibeasts in her child initiated time. She has been remembering to use her phonics sounds and has been reflective on how to improve her writing. Well done Callie!

Jesse - Jesse has returned to Module 4 with a fantastic attitude to learning. He is becoming an excellent communicator during taught sessions and is beginning to really think about how he can articulate his ideas. Jesse is also becoming very reflective in his writing and is spending his independent learning time choosing to write. Well done Jesse, keep up the fantastic attitude to learning.
Brody - Brody has been developing his reflective skills. He has shown an increased willingness to verbally communicate his opinions. Brody has shown he can be a fantastic inquirer through his participation in Drawing Club this week. Well done Brody, keep up the hard work!
Teddy - Teddy has been a fantastic inquirer this week when learning about minibeasts and their life cycles. Teddy has used his communication skills to explain what we have been learning at school and even go on a bug hunt at home. Teddy has been reflective in his writing and has made a huge improvement in his writing. Teddy is also demonstrating how knowledgeable he can be in his reading too. Keep up the hard work Teddy. Sydney - Sydney has become a great risk taker over the course of the year so far. She is showing an increased willingness to try new things and has demonstrated a greater independence in her social skills and academics. Well done Sydney!
Louie - Louie has made a conscious effort to be reflective in his writing. He has tried to use extended sentences, full stops, capital letters and finger spaces consistently. He has been demonstrating knowledgeable he can be through communicating his ideas in drawing club and our inquiry lessons. Well done Louie, keep up the hard work!

Leo-James - Leo-James has returned to school with a fantastic attitude to learning. He read his book to Miss Helaith with increased fluency and expression. He was able to explain what had happened in the book and what might happen next. Well done Leo-James, keep up the hard work!
Hudson - Hudson has been a great thinker this week. He has worked hard writing his numbers to 50 on a number line. He has also been a reflective learner correcting any numbers that were written the wrong way. Well done Hudson, keep up the hard work!
Florence - Florence has worked very hard this week writing her own story based on The Tin Forest. Florence included lots of adjectives and time conjunctions. It was very interesting to read. Well Done Floss!

Arthur - Arthur has been a excellent role model and amazing thinker this week. In Phonics, he has been working hard with orally blending and word reading independently. We proud of his confidence in being able to instigate and challenge answers in Maths and Science. Well done Arthur!

Jade - Jade has been working incrediby hard this week, particulary in communicating her thoughts and ideas with Kestrel class. She has had some fantastic ideas regarding our new reading book and has really considered the impact of illustrations and writing on the reader.
