I am a teacher

That's easy to see

But here are some things

You may not know about me....

My family is important

It's a family of four,

and also a dog

and some cats we adore

Camping is a passion

We spend lots of time outdoors,

Sitting round the campfire

Telling stories and eating s'mores

Volleyball is my sport

Though riding the Harley is fun, too

Watching movies and reading books

Are also activities I like to do

A lover of traveling

I have been to countries near & far

I love to share my experiences

So students learn how others' lives are

The Packers are my favorite team

(I am from Wisconsin after all)

But I truly love being an Iowan

& a Humboldt Wildcat most of all!

Obviously, I am a fan of poetry

(no, not to the point of obsession)

But I am obsessed with teaching;

I absolutely love my chosen profession!

I'm happily married to Donnie.

My first name is Rona.

Our children are Carly and Chris.

We live in Algona.

I love sports, reading, and music

I am a caring mom, a loving wife and grandma.

Teaching kids from elementary to middle school and teachers, too,

Bring joy to my life.

I love to shop for clothes

And matching jewelry.

Shoes, scarves, belts, purses,

Any fun accessory!

I've worn Algona's red and black,

and Garrigan's black & gold on my sleeve.

But Humboldt Wildcats are the best,

I believe!
