As your facilitators, we invite you to reach out to us as you need help with meeting the course outcomes. We strive to make this course clear and ensure you can see your pathway to success. We understand that each learner is different and has different needs; we each bring different tools, backgrounds, and lived experiences to this classroom. We will always strive to respond to your questions quickly and efficiently. Teaching online can be lonely! It's hard for us to know what's happening on your end if you don't reach out and let us know. So open your Canvas Inbox and drop us a note if you need some support with our course content. We can also arrange time to meet in Zoom to work through any challenges.
As an educator at HSU, you have access to many phenomenal support resources. Really -- these are amazing, so we invite you to use them!
We have every type of Canvas support you can imagine; self-help guides, office hours, and other supports to ensure that you have what you need when you need it. See Canvas Support by the Center for Teaching and Learning for more details. We also have a Canvas Faculty Guide that you can self-enroll in.
The Center for Teaching and Learning has a team of instructional designers that are here to support you in the design and pedagogical approaches for your courses. Contact the CTL at ctl.humboldt.edu
The CTL also provides support for various academic technologies that educators use to support teaching and learning. A great place to search is our CTL Guides. Contact the CTL for further support on specific technologies, or self-enroll in the Summer Instructional Development Hub (coming soon!) for resources.
This course was created with inclusion and accessibility in mind. If you need further accommodations, please do not hesitate to contact us so we can best support your learning experience.
