If you are an incoming college student in Texas, it is recommended to take the TSIA2 , but the best practice would be to refer to your college’s website or speak with your college advisor for details.

Go to the ACT website:

Sign in to your ACT account:
Click “Sign In” → “MyACT”
Use the same email and password you used when you registered for the test.
Go to “Scores”
Once logged in, click the “Scores” tab at the top.
You’ll see your test dates and scores.
Select “Send Your Scores”
Choose the test date(s) you want to send.
Click “Send Scores” or “Send to Colleges”.
Search for colleges or scholarship programs
You can type the school’s name, city, or ACT code.
Select each recipient you want to send scores to.
Review and pay
Confirm the list of colleges/programs.
Pay the score report fees (unless you already used your free reports).
4 FREE reports: If you list schools when you register for the ACT (you have until Thursday at noon, Central Time, after your test to make changes).
After that: It costs about $16 per college (as of 2025).
Priority/express delivery: Around $18 extra if you need them sent faster.
Regular delivery: 1–2 weeks for electronic delivery after you request.
Rush delivery: Usually 2–3 business days.
Colleges only receive official scores sent directly from ACT.
You can’t combine section scores from different test dates.
Use “Score Choice” — you can choose which test date(s) to send.
NCAA or scholarship programs might require all scores, so check their policies.

Sign in to your account
Use the same login you used when registering for the SAT or viewing your scores.
Navigate to “Send Scores”
Click on “My SAT” or go directly to https://satsuite.collegeboard.org/sat/scores/send-scores
Then select “Send Scores”.
Choose recipients
You can search for colleges by name, state, or code.
Select the institutions you want to send scores to.
Review and confirm
You’ll see your selected colleges and total cost (unless you’re using free reports).
Submit your request.
Fee information
Free: You can send up to 4 free score reports within 9 days after your test date.
After 9 days: Each additional report costs about $14 per college.
Delivery time
Most colleges receive scores within 1–2 weeks electronically.
Some may take longer if they only accept paper reports.
