Wondering what this AVID thing is all about? This page will help explain the mission of the AVID program, the fundamentals of the AVID program, and the expectations of the AVID student!

Starting at the secondary level, AVID targets students who have the desire to go to college and are capable of completing a rigorous curriculum using the will to work hard. The AVID class requires students to tackle their school's toughest classes, including but not limited to Pre-AP, AP, Dual Credit, and Early High School programs. For one period a day, students receive additional academic, emotional, and social support that will help them succeed in their school's toughest coursework.
