We will be using Zotero as our article repository and citation manager in the HUGS projects this summer. To prepare for the reading and writing you will do during your internship download Zotero from zotero.org
A few things to get up and running during the prep week:
Look for your invitation join the Zotero Group . It was sent to your hugs-lab.org e-mail. If you did not get it, let Dr. Schladen know ASAP.
Once you are set up in the group, you can access all the journal articles that are stored there and site them easily as you start to develop the background sections on your research papers this summer.
Find and install the Zotero Connector. This plug-in will let you save new articles you find online to the article repository. Note that you can add a new folder to file your articles by mousing over the name of the Group Repository and clicking on the "+" that appears to the right.
There is a Zotero plug-in for Word (in Zotero, tools -> Add Ons) and for Google Docs. Install the one for the text editor you plan to work with during the internship.
