International Students
Introduction
Global campus Foreign students Association is an organization that is devoted to serving the needs of regular (full-degree) international students and facilitating their stay at HUFS. GFA seeks to assist these students in adapting to the campus environment and help them to fully integrate themselves into the HUFS community.
Objectives
To empower international regular students by facilitating real integration into HUFS community.
To break the barriers that prevent foreign students’ integration into campus and acting as one student body alongside Korean students.
To create space for international students to conduct their activities.
To serve as bridge between the school administration and the foreign regular students at HUFS as well as with the university General Student Council.
Activities
Translating relevant information from Korean to English and Chinese.
Providing up-to-date information regarding academic affairs, college policies, extracurricular activities, and internships.
Creating career-oriented, extracurricular and entertaining activities such as:
Ted-Talks, conferences, symposiums, cultural exchange, MTs (membership training) parties, and many other events that help international students cop with their life in Korea.
Engaging regular international students through various call to action activities on social media platforms.
