  • Who are we?

The Hudson High School Drama Club and Thespian Society perform multiple shows throughout our season (school year); a Fall Play, Children's Show, and Spring Musical. The Club and Society are composed of students from 9-12 grade at the High School and occasionally students from lower Middle and Elementary Schools. Our Facility (The HHS Auditorium/Theater) provides learning opportunities for students to practice their craft on and off the stage with professional design mentors and artistic personnel.

Our 2022-2023 Season...

Christmas Carol
Nov. 18-20 @ HHS Auditorium

A personal to Hudson High School version of Christmas Carol was adapted by Director Bob Russell, and original music written by Music Director Jacob Moore, and alumni Karsen Guldan. Ebenezer Scrooge is a prosperous curmudgeon who believes that personal wealth is far more valuable than the happiness and comfort of others. With an infuriated "Bah! Humbug!" Scrooge summates his feelings of Christmas tidings and charitable giving, but he's forced to face his selfish ways when three ghosts on Christmas Eve lead him through his Past, Present and Future. Thanks to their guidance, Scrooge recognizes his faults and greets Christmas morning with a cheerful "Happy Christmas" before spending the day reconnecting and sharing love with those that mean the most to him.

The Addams Family
April 14-16 @ HHS Auditorium

In its typical creepy, kooky, mysterious, and spooky fashion, the ghoulish Addams family is visiting the graveyard for an annual gathering of all family members, living dead, and undecided, to celebrate what it is to be an Addams. However, the family encounters an unforeseen obstacle when Wednesday decides to introduce her new “normal” boyfriend Lucas to the family. In protest, Uncle Fester enlists the help of the Addams’ ancestors to call an end to the young budding romance. As Wednesday admits that she is falling in love, Morticia, Gomez, and Pugsley worry about her changing ways. As the families of Wednesday and Lucas come together for dinner one fateful evening, chaos ensues and the two families find themselves admitting deep secrets and coming together in ways they never would have imagined. The Addams Family tells the story of love and friendship through adversity, with a comical and macabre yet poignant spin.
