Parents Gateway: Notifications Issue with Parents Gateway App - 25 July 2019
We have received feedback that some parents have encountered problems receiving notifications for Parents’ Gateway. We are pleased to share the following actions that could be taken to rectify the problem:
For iPhone Users
1. Delete/uninstall and reinstall the app, then log in again.
2. Ensure you have the latest version of the Parents Gateway App (v3.0.2).
3. The notification for Parents Gateway is enabled (turned to “ON”) in their phone settings.
4. Ensure that their “BANNER STYLE” setting is set to ‘PERSISTENT’.
5. You have to remain logged in to the app.
For Android Users
1. Delete/uninstall and reinstall the app, then log in again.
2. Ensure you have the latest version of the Parents Gateway App (v3.0.2)
3. Turn off the battery saver function for Parents Gateway.

Dear Parents/Legal Guardian,
Below is the Travel Declaration Guide for Parents. As mentioned in May Newsletter 2019, we seek your assistance to declare the travel plans of your child/ward for the upcoming June holidays. Do take note than we also require a NIL declaration if your child/ward is not travelling overseas for the holiday period. Please be informed that with effect from this year, all parents/legal guardians are required to complete the travel declaration for your child/ward via Parents Gateway (PG).

Parents Gateway Notifications Fix - 28 February 2019
Dear Parents/Legal Guardian,
Please be informed that GovTech have just released the fix for notifications issue. The fix can be downloaded from AppStore (iPhone) or PlayStore (Android). Do download the 2.1.3 version to resolve the notifications issue.
