Financial Assistance Scheme

The MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) is to help needy Singaporean students pay essential school expenses and to ensure that no Singaporean child will be denied an education due to financial reasons.. Students who are eligible for the MOE FAS may apply through online submission via FormSG: https://go.gov.sg/moe-efas 

Supporting documents must be less than 1MB and uploaded into the FormSG.  

Do note that the following group of families will need to apply using the hardcopy application form:
a. families with other dependents (Great grandparents, Aunties/Uncles, Cousins and others)
b. family with more than 5 children in GGAS
c. family with more than 4 unmarried children not in GGAS
d. family with more than 3 grandparents in the household   

Please approach the School Admin Centre should you require the hardcopy application form. Applications may be submitted at any time during the year.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AND BENEFITS UNDER MOE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE SCHEME


*PCI is computed based on GHI divided by the number of household members which include the student, his/her unmarried siblings, parents and grandparents living at the same address. Other relatives who are dependent on the family and live at the same residential address may be included on a case-by-case basis.
The MOE FAS has to be renewed annually subject to re-verification of household income, and household members if Per Capita Income basis is used.

DigitalAccess@Home

During the Ministry of Communications and Information (MCI) Committee of Supply (COS) parliamentary debate on 28 February 2023, Minister Josephine Teo announced that IMDA is introducing a new DigitalAccess@Home scheme to provide subsidised broadband and digital devices (laptop or tablet) to low-income Singaporean households to strengthen digital inclusion. The scheme will replace the existing Home Access and NEU PC Plus programmes.

DigitalAccess@Home will come into effect from 3 April 2023. Eligible households can apply for the scheme through a simplified application process and enjoy the flexibility to choose their device and broadband connectivity according to their needs. Please note that with the launch of DigitalAccess@Home, the NEU PC plus programme is ceased.
