The ROOKIE INSPIRATION AWARD is an award that is given out to rookie teams who put forward an extraordinary effort during their first year.
The GRACIOUS PROFESSIONALISM AWARD was given to us in 2014 at the Bridgewater District Competition. We earned this award due to two different reasons. One student helped a team who had a grounded robot. This student looked at the teams wiring and noticed a loose wire, then fixed it. Another student helped another team with their programming.
Our team was awarded the CREATIVITY AWARD at the MAR Regional in 2015. We earned it due to the lead screw design to bring up our robot, Forkules's forks. Another factory in acquiring this award was the fact that our robot was made from scrap metal laid out by HURRICANE SANDY.
Our team was awarded the JUDGES AWARD at the Chestnut Hill in 2017. This was earned through engagements with the judges during that competition. Whenever the judges would visit our pit our students were always ready to give them detailed summaries of our work.
Team 2191 finished in second place at the 2022 FMA District Seneca Event. This was a hard fought competition where our students never gave up. After each match we kept making modifications and repairs and kept our heads in the game.
