GRACIOUS PROFESSIONALISM is one of the two most important values that FIRST and FIRST teams follow. Gracious Professionalism embraces and flourishes in the idea of competition. However, disapproves trash talk, shaming of other teams, taunting and other forms of poor sportsmanship. It is preferred that teams help each other, whether they are facing against them or not. This is a value of FIRST that founder WOODIE FLOWERS put forward.
COOPERTITION is the idea that teams should work together and compete with each other at the same time. Coopertition was heavily present in REBOUND RUMBLE where two robots of opposite alliances would attempt to balance on a ramp at the end of a match.
