The Community Assembly initiative is designed to bring students together. We aim to create a space to learn from one another, build meaningful relationships and understand the value that community brings to our learning journeys. Through our Community Assemblies, we will have the opportunity to:
Connect with fellow students from different courses and backgrounds
Share knowledge, skills and experiences to enrich our learning and broaden our perspectives
Discuss topics that matter to us fostering empathy, understanding and mutual respect
Explore the importance of community and belonging allowing us to thrive as individuals and as a collective
Please share your ideas about how you'd like Community Assemblies to look and feel by connecting with the Summer School faculty.
This year, a new initiative, that we will be introducing in Summer School, is the HawkEye Fives. The HawkEye Fives are an opportunity for students and teachers to show their gratitude to others - it is our opportunity to lift each other up.
Each week in our Weekly Wrap-Ups a form will be available for you to complete. During each Wednesday Assembly we will present the HawkEye Fives and celebrate each other in an authentic way.
For your reference, to the right is our HawkEye Fives submission form (alternatively here is the link to this form).
