Hardware & Software

Due to safety and security, it is important to only use programs, software, and websites that have been approved. A full list is available here. For any new websites, software, or hardware you would like to use, you must complete the approval form. This committee ensures a program or device is safe for students, protects data, and can work with our network.

All teachers are given a credit card funded by the state to purchase things for your class/classroom. Please visit the tech coach website for ideas for software or hardware for purchasing. We have an in house tech store with different classroom technology that might support your needs. Please remember, things outside of the approved list must go through the TIRC committee to ensure you do not purchase something that cannot be used.

Each classroom has a Viewsonic board for interactively displaying your lessons. You can login to these boards just like you would login to your laptop & with the same credentials. All teachers have classroom technology provided by the district. Some schools have purchased additional items. See your tech coach or librarian for more information. Classroom technology includes audio enhancement microphones & chargers, wireless keyboards, HDMI and USB cords, Viewsonic pens, & a Viewsonic remote. Other items may include Wacom tablets, webcams, document cameras, charging stations/carts, etc. Please visit the tech store to purchase other items.
