Lineville students are acknowledged for making positive behavior choices. Our staff focuses on catching kids Being Safe, Respectful, Responsible and Kind. We know that by focusing on the positive we are more likely to get positive behavior in our building. Students are given an Acknowledgement card in response to positive and wanted behaviors.

Acknowledgements are tracked in a spreadsheet and are collected weekly by house teachers. Students are able to purchase coupons for 30 acknowledgements. Each quarter a different menu of choices is available for the students to select from.

As a school we set goals for our students to reach. As students collectively earn acknowledgements we will celebrate the success with dress up days or other special activities.

I Live the Roadrunner Way Bracelets

As students earn acknowledgments, they will also earn Roadrunner Way bracelets. The system is modeled after the Karate Belt hierarchy. Students earn different color belts as they earn more and more acknowledgements. Students begin with earning a white belt and move up to a black belt. Throughout the year special "perks" will be awarded to students that have earned various level belts.
