Term Four - Week 1

Performing Arts

Learning Intention: To make a facial expression that will display the characteristics of the emotional emoji.

Success Criteria: I can use different facial expressions to show different emotions.

Remote learning Term 3 -Prep Activity Grid.docx

Choose six of your favourite emotional emoji's.
Using your facial expressions (eg. frown, smile, eyebrows up, winking, clenched teeth etc), practise changing your face to match your favourite emoji's.
Show a member of your family the six facial expressions and let them guess which emotional emoji you were!

If you have some spare time click on the Prep activity grid - things to do at home and complete one of the activities listed.

Learning Intention: To change your voice and make up a character to suit the theme of the story.

Success Criteria: I can turn into the character of a doctor and give my patient a cure to their problem.

Find a family member to act as a patient for you or you can use one of your toys or even a pillow.

You will pretend to be the doctor (make up a great name for yourself) and your patient will need a name too.
Introduce yourself as the doctor, ask what is the problem and suggest a cure for your patient.
Ask your patient lots of questions and try to have multiple patients with different problems to diagnose.

Success Criteria: I can work with others to create a funny story that includes voice overs and gestures.
