Book Week activities
Download the template and try and go on a hunt in your book shelf. How many books can you find?
Create your own bookmarks about your favourite books.
Can you create your own game of Snakes and Ladders about your favourite Book Week book? Try having a go with your family.
Create a Book Trailer
A book trailer is a helpful marketing tool to promote a book. Adapted from the term movie trailer, a book trailer is a short promotional video to help spark the interest of a viewer.

Book covers should be eye catching and related to the book title.
Create your own book cover and blurb of a story

Choose a book you have at home and re-design the front cover.
You will need: a dice, something to drawer with and some colours
Follow the instructions to create a new world for Book Week.
Create your own Other World.
Think about:
Who lives there?
Where is it?
What happens? What do you do?
What year is it?
What planet is it on?
Be creative!! You may like to write a story about your new world.
