Learning Intention:
To turn your sock puppets into believable characters.
Success Criteria:
I can speak with a different voice.
I can tell a story about the incident that occurred.
This is your assessment task so please refer to the rubric to ensure you have met all the criteria.
Scaredy-socks!
Find two clean socks of different colours, or shapes.
Give each one a ridiculous name, and a fun voice.
Make-up and film a scene between these two crazy sock characters based on the following:
The characters (Puppet 1 and Puppet 2) are home alone playing, they talk about how fun it is finally being left alone to babysit themselves.
Suddenly they hear a noise from outside – both are scared. They discuss what they should do – one of them has to go and check what it is, perhaps they argue, Puppet 1 leaves and Puppet 2 is left alone for a long time, they get worried, Puppet 2 calls out! Pause.
Puppet 1 comes back and explains it was just the cat. They laugh about how scared they were.
