Week 4 Term 2
Loved the Rhyming words people chose... the most popular were..plop & hop!
The illustrations were amazing...the most popular pages where ... the apple swinging in the breeze, the page where the rabbits were eating chocolate cake & when the bear was running away from the Terrible Plop! Were any of these your favourite?
Today we are thinking about the front cover of a book and the information it contains.
We are taking some time out to snuggle up and read for fun!
No task this week- just enjoy!
We are learning about the many different types & features of books and the roles of the author & illustrator

If you've been wondering......YES!!!! It's out now ...Bad Guys 11
Once upon a time....
The sentence....Once upon a time...immediately makes us think of Fairy Tales.
Task 1) As you listen & watch the story can you find and list at least 4 other characters from well known fairy tales?
Can you brainstorm any other words or phrases commonly found in fairy tales?
Record your thinking on a piece of paper, take a photo or on a doc don't forget to name & share
Wolves are often portrayed as Villains, the 'bad guys' in stories.
Wolfie wants to be a Hero, a good guy.
Task 2) Can you design a Super Hero cape for Wolfie to wear with some of his good qualities, actions listed on it?
Eg: You might put WW as a badge in the middle for 'Wonder Wolf"
List some words describing Wolfie's actions from the story, such as loyal, caring, underneath or around his cape...what else can you think of..
A tip would be to design your cape to almost be almost as big as an A4 sheet of paper.
That way it will look very effective..
