Please have this sheet printed and ready for our Google Meet. If you don't have a printer just write the animal names in the same order on a piece of plain white paper.
After our Google Meets session please upload your finished work onto Class Dojo Portfolio.
Here is our new Hiragana song!
Sing along with the song. Don't forget our Harry Potter saying to help you ; )
Peter Has Blonde Hair
Harry Potter
Harry Potter

You will find week 6's roll question at the end of the video. Record your answer in a full Japanese sentence about the number of animals on that slide and upload it to Class Dojo Portfolio. Please upload it to your individual grade - not the level.
Yes I spelt gNome like that on purpose!
Find out what the little っ does!
Here is the crack the code we started at the end of last term, lots of you did not finish. I know how much you love Crack the Code so I thought we would finish the sheet! Print the worksheet out and using the Hiragana chart (you can find it on the front page of Japanese Google Site) to crack the code!! If you don't have a printer just write the code and the hiragana underneath on a piece of paper ; ) Please read the hints I wrote for you in the boxes and remember that 小 means small, so the character needs to half the height.
Upload your work to Class Dojo Portfolio.
Here is our new Hiragana song!
Here is a brand new CM from Kentucky Fried Chicken!
This song is about general counters. We will use these counters for our food/drink orders.
Did you like our new song? Did you hear the word welcome in Japanese? I always get this song stuck in my head!
Our roll question is the same as previous weeks but I wanted to talk to you about the sentence structure.
The sentence pattern will be:
(Food) を (counter) ください。
If you want to extend yourself then include と between your food/drink items.
Eg. フライドポテト を 二つ と コーラ を 一つ ください。
This translates to: I would like two chips/fries and one cola please.
Record your answer (food order) and upload it to Class Dojo portfolio. Please upload it to your individual grade - not the level.
I've made a little poster to help you with the counters. Read the hiragana above the kanji to be able to read the counters out loud. This will help you with your roll question.
