みなさん、こんにちは!Hi everyone, it's Sensei here. I hope you are staying safe at home. On this site you will find your weekly Japanese lesson. I have put the activities in order for you. If you have any questions you can email me on nstruthers@hsringwoodnth.catholic.edu.au or ask your family if you can message me on Dojo. I work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and will try and get back to you as quick as I can ; )

Watch the video and then record your answer to the roll question on Class Dojo. I will set the activity on Tuesday morning.
This week we are going to learn how to count up from 10 to 20.
Parents/carers please note I'm not expecting them to know them all off by heart in one week (!) but want to expose the Preps to higher numbers and the special readings.
Choose one of the Hiragana videos to watch. Here is the "magic box" version of the Hiragana alphabet!
Here is the "music box" version of the Hiragana alphabet!
Let's sing the colour song! Don't forget to include the actions when you sing.
This is our new song for this term. Listen to the song and clap every time you hear the word くま (kuma).
Here is your roll question for this week. Practise your answer and then upload it to Class Dojo. I will create the activity on Tuesday morning. The answer does not need to be about an animal, it can be be anything from around the house.
Let's read the book together!

Sing along with the song. Don't forget our Harry Potter saying to help you ; )

This needs to be completed and submitted onto Class Dojo Portfolio. I have set the activity up for you.
Remember if you can't print it then you can just write the Hiragana on scrap paper using the colours and then draw a hint next to it to help you remember.
Refer to Week 2's instructions for further information.

This activity is completely optional this week. If you would like to give it a go, click on the link for your grade then type your first name and first initial of your surname with no space, eg. I would be NicoleS and then press GO. Your work should appear. You don't need to sign up or log in and you don't need to print or hand anything in to me. It automatically saves your work and I can see it from my screen as you do it! If you need help you can click the hands up button and I'll try and get back to you asap ; )
