Coach Henning, and your teammates, expect you to attend every practice and race, even if injured. If you can attend school you should attend practice.

Emergencies are allowed for, however. Between the first day of school on September 5 and the City Championships on November 9 you are allowed ten absences.

No reason need be given before or after an absence. A missed competition counts as a double absence. Religious/cultural holidays accommodated by the DOE are not counted, and neither are absences during school breaks. There are no other "excused" absences.
