Bordering States- students will be given a copy of the United states. They will then label and color the bordering states.
Write a Paragraph- Tell us why we should visit your state. This paragraph must be in your words only to receive the points.
Product(Resource) Map- students will be given a map of their state. They will draw or paste pictures that represent resources grown in their chosen state. They will also need to make a map key.

STATE REPORT
REPORTS ARE DUE ON Friday, May 12th!!
NO LATE REPORTS WILL BE ACCEPTED
Students will be doing a report on one of our 50 states. They have chosen their state and must include the following information on their report:
1. State Seal - http://www.statesymbolsusa.org/categories/state-seal
2. Landform map - http://www.worldatlas.com/webimage/countrys/namerica/usstates/usmaps.htm click on your state
3. Bordering states (if any border their state) I will provide the students with a copy of the United States, they just need to label and color it.
4. A paragraph on why we should visit their state.
(Topic, details, and closing should be in the
paragraph) Must be written in their own words to receive the points

6. A copy of the “Just the Facts” for your state

Students please feel free to add any additional information about your state that you would like to share. (state flag, state motto, state capital, state nickname, where did it get its name, interesting facts, famous people from this state. Please let me know as soon as possible if you are unable to access a computer. I would also like these displayed on any color poster board. I have links on my website that will make this project easier.
