Meet the Teacher 

Welcome to the Primary Art Room!

I believe every student deserves the opportunity to discover his/her true creative talents in a supportive environment.  I am so proud to be a part of the Hillsboro School District.  We are truly blessed with so many wonderful teachers.  I have been a part of the district since I was in kindergarten myself.   I was fortunate to have my own first grade teacher as my mentor teacher when I began my career at Hillsboro in 1995.  I began as a first grade teacher and later transferred to an art position.  I have taught at the Junior High and Primary schools.

My husband, Clark Huskey, works in technology for Washington University. We have two children, Riley Huskey, 18, and Reed Huskey, 22.  Riley is a freshman in college, and  Reed is working for Caterpillar in Nashville, Tennessee in Cybersecurity.
