Clean up quickly and carefully.
Be Safe
Use art tools safely.
Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
Consequences:
1=Nonverbal reminder. Looking directly at student or moving to the student's seating area to get his/her attention.
2=Verbal Warning
3=Time out in quiet area.
4=Yellow card sent home. -5 points on behavior grade
5=Red card sent home. Time out in special area. -10 points on behavior grade
6=Discipline Referral. (Principal) -15 points on behavior grade
*Throwing objects, blatant disrespect or dangerous actions will immediately be sent to principal’s office.
Rewards:
Individual rewards. Students often earn hawk pride tickets, awesome artist awards, stickers, or opportunities to choose space in line for special individual behavior that promotes a positive learning environment.
Class rewards: Daily moves on game board for meeting their current behavior goal. Reaching the end of the board results in a class art party.
